Bosmere Skip Hire & waste disposal services were set up in 2020 after we noticed there was a large increase in local fly-tipping in our beautiful village. So working closely with local families & businesses Bosmere was born to try to make affordable waste solutions for all in an attempt to keep our beautiful countryside clean. And we have had a great response from our supportive locals and as that trend continues we are scaling up and investing in our business so we can continue to provide our friendly, low-cost services to the wider community.
Our yard is based in Barham, just outside of Ipswich and we cover a wide area around Suffolk and the Suffolk/Essex border. We're always happy to travel further afield, especially to support our ongoing contract customers.

At Bosmere Skip Hire we understand the importance of looking after our natural environment both in the local area as well as our wider global impact. As a licensed waste carrier, we only tip your waste in approved waste recycling and transfer centres so you can be assured that your waste won't end up at the side of a road.
We also aim to recycle as much of your waste as possible. By partnering with other local businesses, recyclers and transfer stations we're able to recycle 90% of waste products. By recycling these items, at no extra cost to you, we're helping to keep your waste out of landfill sites and making sure that our environmental impact as a business is as small as possible.
Any waste that is hazardous to the environment or human health is always dealt with extremely carefully in line with industry best practices and government regulations.
As a waste carrier we are licensed by the Environment Agency to make sure that we are following all of the relevant legislation. This means that we are regularly audited on our tip accounts to ensure that your waste is only passed on to other fully licensed waste management businesses.
You can check our license status at any time on the Environment Agency Website and we are happy to show you our licence along with our tip accounts when dropping off or collecting your skip.
Yes! We're happy to put in place an ongoing skip hire contract with anyone that requires skips on an ongoing basis. For example contractors, builders, plumbers, electricians or DIY enthusiasts with big projects.
Of course, we're always happy to advise you on the size of skip you'll need for your project and we will be launching our skip selector soon!
A stillage is a metal box made out of steel that sits on a trolley. These are perfect for customers who have very little access for a skip. These can be pushed through your average-sized garden gate
Yes, we're happy to assist you in loading your skip if you have particularly heavy items such as large electrical appliances or bathroom sinks/toilets.
Depending on the number of items and time required there may be an additional charge but we will always make you aware of any costs before progressing.

Yes, we provide our customers discounts on skips/stillages filled with a single material, such as bricks. We are able to offer this as it doesn't require sorting.
Yes, we are happy to collect and deliver sand, aggregates and other building materials to your site. Perfect for smaller contractors needing deliveries on a regular basis or DIYers needing one-off collections!
